No upfront fee
The full fee is priced against your project, starting from EUR 5,000, and it is due only when your Business Finland funding decision is positive and your project is accepted. Nothing is billed before that.
Business Finland funding
For Finnish companies whose CEO or founder needs a straight answer: is this project fundable, what would it take, and who does the work.
No sales pitch first. Get a clear read on whether it is worth applying.
Pay on success
There is no upfront fee. Our fee is tied to your funding. When Business Finland says yes and the money lands, we have earned it, and not before.

We take on the projects we believe can be funded, and we put our own fee behind that judgment. Our confidence shows up in how we get paid.
Because we are paid on success, we are pulling for exactly what you are: an approved application and funding in the bank. Same incentive, same finish line.
The funding decision itself is always Business Finland's to make. What sits with us is the fee: no cost until success, then tied to your win.
Who qualifies
Business Finland funds development risk, not routine delivery.
The company needs to be Finnish-registered with a scalable model. Beyond that, evaluators look for three things before the application is worth writing.
You can state exactly what you want to develop and why. Within that, there is genuine technical or commercial uncertainty, not routine software delivery or tool configuration, which is what the innovation element of a grant actually funds.
There is a rough budget range, eligible cost logic, and internal people or partners who can actually execute the work packages.
Success creates new capability, IP, product advantage, or export growth, with an adoption path that outlives the project itself.
Track record
Business Finland approvals span the full range BRNSFT works across, from a EUR 70,000 early-stage Tempo grant to a EUR 957,000 R&D award, across four approvals totaling EUR 1.57M.
